Brief Description:  Left wing fuel tank part #29

Not a lot of work down tonight. I forgot to install my return line into the left tank, sooooo, I had to do it with the inboard rib in place. Wasn't all that difficult, but I will need to get the rest of the aluminum shavings out.

I used a piece of 3/8" 5052 and drilled two holes. One 9/16" in the inboard rib and one 1/2" in the 2nd bay to acccomodate the snap bushing.

I used the Parker flare tube tool and test fitted the fittings. All is good. I had to lower the return line for this tank as a result of the flop tube. With the return line in place, there is no issue with the flop tube touching the bottom of the tank. Where I expect an issue is the flop tube chaffing and rubbing on the return line.

I'll have to go to the forum to see what people think. Is it a quick fix by adding proseal onto the return line or something more invovled? In any event, it needs to be addressed for piece of mind.

I'm waiting my new proseal arrival from Van's before I can wet set the rivets into the ribs. I'll move onto the right wing top skins while I wait. They need to be completely deburred, dimpled, then primed.
